Intranets are different to websites
- They live on your school server and so operate much more quickly and can utilise much larger files including movies, sounds, presentations and animations.
- They operate on your network so they can pickup and use your Active Directory data to share information like names, logins, passwords and staff or student status.
- They are (generally) restricted to your school community and so can carry different resources and applications.
